Measurement Guide

Accurate measurements are essential for finding the perfect fit to feel beautiful and confident on your special day. To ensure the best results, please follow our guide closely. We’ll be focusing on key measurements such as Bust, Waist, Hips, and Hollow to Floor—key details that will help ensure your dress looks and feels amazing as you walk down the aisle. Taking the time to measure correctly will help you choose a gown that fits you beautifully.

Wedding dress sizing can vary significantly between designers, so it's essential to refer to the specific size chart displayed on the product page rather than relying on your usual clothing size. Bridal gowns often run one or two sizes smaller than standard clothing - don't panic! This is completely normal, so focus on your actual measurements rather than the sizes. If your measurements fall between sizes, it's best to choose the larger size, as it's always easier to take in a gown to make it smaller than to add extra fabric to make it larger.

TIPS

  • Use a soft, flexible measuring tape and be sure the tape is taut but not tight; it should rest comfortably against your body without compressing the skin.

  • Remove all clothing except your undergarments you intend to wear on your wedding day for the most accurate measurements.

  • Stand straight and maintain a natural posture during measurement.

  • Measure while wearing your wedding day shoes.

  • For the best accuracy, measure each area 2-3 times or have a professional seamstress take your measurements.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape is parallel to the floor and wraps evenly around your back and under your arms.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure the tape is parallel to the floor.

Waist

Locate your natural waistline, which is the smallest part of your waist, typically above your belly button and below your rib cage. Bend slightly to the side; the crease that forms is your natural waist. Measure around this point.

Hollow to Floor

This measurement is crucial for determining the gown's length. Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck (the indentation between your collarbones) straight down to the floor while standing tall and wearing your wedding day shoes.
